• Adding the title of “Dean of Undergraduate Studies” to that of Assistant Provost for Undergraduate Education

o Referred to the University Committee on Academic Policy (UCAP)

• Consolidating the three existing Integrative Studies centers

o Referred to the UCAP
o Expected to be discussed at the March 18th meeting
o Will report recommendations back to Provost Simon
o Will begin recruiting review team

• Reviewing writing in the undergraduate curriculum

o Planning committee will be appointed

• Addressing quantitative literacy

• Strengthening the mentoring of graduate students

o Referred to Faculty Council
o Expected to be discussed at the March 30th meeting

• Establishing a new degree-oriented residential college in the liberal and creative arts and sciences

• Expanding James Madison College (JMC) and Lyman Briggs School (LBS)

• Name Change for the Department of Agricultural Engineering to Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering
